Admission Process

Many universities primarily select students through reviews of documents and application form, although some may also conduct interviews or tests.
It is a good idea to prepare in advance by researching the admissions process of the university where you want to apply.

⊙Application period

  • Spring semester (March admission)
    Applicants should submit their application between September and November of the year prior to the intended year of admission.
  • Fall semester (September admission)
    Applicants should submit their application between May and June of the year they intend to be admitted.
  • Freshmen
    You can apply if you have a high school diploma or a higher degree
  • Transfer
    Applicants who have studied at a university for a certain period of time or who have a university college degree or higher can apply.

⊙Documents needed when applying

  • Visa issuance (recognition) application form
  • Business registration certificate of the educational institution you attended
  • Standard admission certificate
  • Proof of family relations
  • Proof of final educational attainment
  • Proof of financial support
  • The application period and documents reviewed for admission differ by school, so you should check the admission requirements of your desired university.
  • Depending on the type of document (it is usually your academic record for the highest educational level you attained), universities may ask for a notarized translation or an Apostille verification of the academic record.
  • What is the Apostille system?
    - A system for verifying the authenticity of foreign-issued official documents without the need for consular authentication. Currently, 124 countries worldwide are signatories to the Apostille Convention. (2023.11.7)
