Visa application procedure

Upon receiving an admission letter, prospective students must prepare the documents necessary to come to Korea and then obtain a study visa through the Korean embassy or consulate in their home country.

D-2 : Foreign students enrolling in a degree-awarding program
D-4 : Foreign students enrolling in a non-degree awarding program (training)

In order to expedite the visa issuance process, except in special situations, the Korean government requires prospective students to obtain a “Visa Issuance Confirmation” first before applying for a visa.
