This year marked the 20th year of the "Outstanding Alumni Invitation Program", an event that invites distinguished alumni, who are actively contributing to their respective countries after graduation, back to Korea. The program has become a platform for fostering exchanges between Korean and global talent. This year's event, held from August 25 (Sunday) to September 2 (Monday) over 8 nights and 9 days, invited 20 alumni from 20 different countries* to participate in activities such as visits to major domestic industrial facilities, cultural experiences, professional exchanges in specialized fields, and visits to their alma maters, aimed at sustaining and developing bilateral relations.
*Participating alumni countries: Ghana, Greece, Nepal, Romania, Malaysia, Morocco, Mongolia, Myanmar, Serbia, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, El Salvador, Uganda, Iran, India, China, Costa Rica, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kyrgyzstan, Panama
**GKS Bridge Project: During the invitation program, participants visited their host universities and research institutions to engage in activities promoting exchange and cooperation between the two countries.

- 행사 내용: 워크숍, 산업체 및 문화 탐방, GKS 브릿지 프로젝트 등
올해 20회차를 맞이한 ‘우수 동문 초청 연수’는 졸업자 중 각 나라에서 활약하고 있는 우수 동문을 한국으로 초청하는 행사로, 한국과 전 세계의 인재들이 교류하는 프로그램으로 자리잡고 있다. 올해 행사는 8월 25일(일)부터 9월 2일(월)까지 8박 9일간 운영되며, 20개 국가*의 동문 20명을 초청해 국내 주요 산업시설 시찰 및 문화 활동 체험, 개별 전문 분야 교류, 모교 방문 등 국가 간 관계를 지속·발전시키기 위한 활동**을 진행하였다.
