Special Lecture of GKS Alumni at Leadership Academy

The Korea GKS Alumni Association, in collaboration with the Sunnong Culture
Forum, hosted a Special Lecture on Career Choice as part of the Leadership Academy program which was held on April 30th, 2024. This mentoring event took place on April 30 at the B5 Auditorium in Myeongdong, Seoul. Three GKS Alumni mentors-Nihat Khalilzade, Anna Pazderski, and Peter Annor-led the discussion, engaging with 97 participants enrolled for the spring semester. Reflecting on the event, Nihat Khalilzade mentioned, "Reflecting on past experiences and sharing insights proved to be a rewarding experience." The session provided valuable guidance and inspiration for the attendees, con- tributing significantly to their career development journey.

리더십 아카데미에서 GKS 동문 특별 강연

대한민국 GKS 동문회는 순농문화포럼과 협력하여 리더십 아카데미 프로그램의 진로 선택에 관한 특별 강연을 개최했습니다. 이번 멘토링 행사는 4월 30일 서울 명동의 B5 강당에서 열렸습니다.
세 명의 GKS 동문 멘토인 니하트 칼릴자데, 안나 파즈데르스키, 피터 애너는 봄 학기에 등록한 97명의 참가자들과 토론을 이끌었습니다. 니하트 칼릴자데는 "과거의 경험을 여러 명과 나누는 것이 보람 있는 경험이 있다고 언급했습니다. 이번 강연은 참석자들에게 귀중한 인사이트와 영감을 제공하며, 그들의 진로 개발 여정에 크게 기여했습니다.

The mentors Botambu Collins and Murtala Sheriff shared their experiences on securing jobs at Korean companies, overcoming employment challenges in Korea, and their insights about integrating into Korean society.

Climate Awareness with Volunteer Korea April 7, April 21, and May 19

Korea GKS Alumni Association in collaboration with Volunteer Korea has planned monthly volunteering activities to raise awareness of climate change. Korea GKS Alumni participated in several rounds of volunteering on April 7, April 21, and May 19 around the Han River and Incheon Ulwangli beach area. Everyone pointed out that individual effort is highly encouraged to tackle air, soil, and water pollution. In addition, the participants agreed to promote a healthy lifestyle in the era of a fast-changing socio-economic environment.

한국봉사단과 함께하는 기후 인식 4월 7일, 4월 21일, 5월 19일

한국 GKS 동문회는 한국봉사단과 협력하여 기후 변화에 대한 인식을 높이기 위해 매달 봉사 활동을 진행하였습니다. 한국 GKS 동문회는 4월 7일, 4월 21일, 5월 19일 한강과 인천 을왕리 해변 지역에서 여러 차례의 봉사 활동에 참여했습니다. 대기, 토양, 그리고 수질 오염 등의 기후 변화에는 개인의 노력이 매우 필요하다는 걸 다시 한번 깨닫게 되는 시간이었습니다. 게다가, 참가자들은 빠르게 변화하는 사회 경제 환경의 시대에 건강한 생활 방식을 주변에도 장려하기로 의논하는 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다.

Korea GKS Alumni Association in collaboration with Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development (KISED) has organized a workshop on K-Startup Grand Challenge 2024 Program. The meeting gathered around 38 GKS Alumni residing in Korea on June 1, at Yeti Hongdae.

한국창업기업가정신개발원(KISED)과 공동으로 한국 GKS 동문회가 K-Startup Grand Challenge 2024 Program에 대한 워크숍을 개최하였습니다.
6월 1일 홍대 예티에서 한국에 거주하는 약 38명의 GKS 동문들이 모였습니다.
이 워크샵을 통해서 참가자들은 스타트업을 설립하는 과정에 대해서 자세히 알 수 있었으며, 한국의 경쟁적인 비즈니스 환경에 대한 도전과 스타트업 통합 기회에 대해 논의할 수 있는 기회가 되었습니다.
