ㅇ 『무지개가 뜨는 나라 솔롱고스 한국』에세이 출간, 몽골동문회(‘20.)

몽골 출신 Naranbaatar Tsatsral 동문(강원대학교, 2008년 초청)의 GKS장학생 시절을 바탕으로 엮어낸 에세이인 "무지개가 뜨는 나라, 솔롱고스 한국" 가 몽골에서 출간되었습니다. 저자인 Tsatsral 동문은 "이 책에 3년간의 소중했던 한국 생활을 생생히 담았다"며, 자신의 경험이 한국의 유학생을 비롯한 후배들에게 도움이 되길 바란다고 언급하였습니다.

ㅇ GKS alum publishes essay collection, GKS Mongolia Alumni Association (2020)

A collection of essays by alumnus Tsatsral Naranbaatar (Kangwon National University, invited in 2008) on her GKS experience (Korea Solongos: The Land of Rainbows) was recently published in Mongolia. Naranbaatar said, “This book is the most accurate retelling possible of my three precious years in Korea,” and mentioned that she hopes her study-abroad experiences can be of help to young Mongolians who wish to become GKS beneficiaries.









ㅇ The Apprentice Mongolia Show in Mongolia GKS 동문 Tserentogtokh 출연(‘20.12.13.~’21.02.14.)

GKS 몽골 동문회 소속 Tserentogtokh(경희대학교, 2008년 초청) 씨가 Mongol HD TV와 Ard Financial Group가 공동으로 개최한 "The Apprentice Mongolia Show"의 본선에 진출하였습니다. 2020.12.13.~2021.2.14.의 기간 동안, 총 10회에 걸쳐 진행된 이 프로그램은 몽골 국내외 유학파 출신의 14명이 참석하여, 주어진 과제를 수행하는 방식으로 진행되었습니다. 여기에 참여한 Tserentogtokh 동문은 경희대학교 경영학과를 졸업하여 우리은행, CITI Bank, Phientwork에서 전략 및 사업계획 매니저로 근무한 우수한 재원입니다. 그녀는 "한국 유학 출신 대표로서, 많은 여성들, 청소년들에게 용기와 기회를 제공하고 싶었다"며, 해당 프로그램 참여 계기를 밝혔으며, 최종 방송까지 우수한 5인 중 1명으로 자리매김하는 등 우수한 성과를 거두었습니다. 또한 GKS동문 및 한국 유학을 꿈꾸는 청소년과 여성들에게 큰 귀감이 되었을 뿐 아니라, 한국 유학생 출신으로서 GKS 몽골동문의 이미지를 제고하는데 기여하였습니다. 한국 유학생을 대표하여 최선을 다해 자리를 빛내주신 Tserentogtokh 동문에게 감사의 말씀을 전합니다.

ㅇ GKS alum stars in The Apprentice Mongolia (Dec. 13, 2020-Feb. 14, 2021)

Tserentogtokh (Kyung Hee University, invited in 2008), a member of GKS Mongolia Alumni Association, starred in the final round of The Apprentice Mongolia (jointly hosted by Mongol HD TV and Ard Financial Group). The program, which was broadcast in 10 episodes from December 13, 2020, until February 14, 2021, featured 14 Mongolians who had attended top universities in Mongolia and overseas countries competing against one another on given tasks. Tserentogtokh, who received her degree from Kyung Hee University’s School of Management, is an experienced financial worker who previously worked as a strategy/business plan manager at institutions such as Citibank and Phientwork. She said her reason for participating in the program was to “give women and teen girls the courage to be the master of their own lives, as a Mongolian woman with study-abroad experience in Korea” and maintained a high level of performance until the last episode as one of the final five contestants. Tserentogtokh’s appearance in the program not only served as inspiration for teens and women who wish to study in Korea, but also increased the visibility of GKS Mongolia Alumni Association. ㅇ 몽골의 차강사르와 한국의 설날”프로그램(‘21.02.12.)

2월 12일, 몽골의 Otgonbaatar(2008년 초청, 연세대학교) 동문과 Bayartsetseg(경희대학교, 2015년 초청) 동문이 몽골 한국어 방송 KCBN의 몽골팟빵에 출연하였습니다. 이 방송은 "설날특집 몽골의 차강사르, 한국의 설날과 어떤 것이 비슷할까요?“ 라는 주제로 진행되었으며, 설날과 차강사르를 비교하여 양국의 역사와 문화를 깊게 이해할 수 있는 뜻깊은 자리였습니다.

ㅇ GKS alum feature in Korean language TV program (Feb. 12, 2021)

On February 12, two GKS alum (Otgonbaatar (Yonsei University, invited in 2008) and Bayartsetseg (Kyung Hee University, invited in 2015)) appeared on Mongol Patppang, a program on the Korean language channel KCBN. The theme for that day’s program, which was a Lunar New Year special, was “What are the similarities between Mongolia’s Tsagaan Sar and Korea’s Lunar New Year?” It was an invaluable opportunity to gain a better understanding of the history and culture of both countries.









ㅇ 신규 GKS 장학생 대상 설명회 개최 (‘21.02.24.)

2월 24일, 몽골동문회에서 한국으로의 유학을 계획하는 신입생들을 대상으로 간담회를 개최하였습니다. 본 간담회는 총 2차례에 걸쳐 진행되었으며, 전공 선택 방법 등 학교생활 전반과 GKS 선배들의 한국 유학 경험담 등으로 구성되었습니다. 뜻깊은 자리를 마련해주신 몽골 동문회와 소중한 경험을 공유해주신 GKS장학생 Orgilbold(서울대학교, 2017년 초청)씨와 동문 Dolgorsuren(연세대학교, 2008년 초청)씨께 감사의 말씀을 드립니다.

ㅇ Information session for 2021 GKS students (Feb. 24, 2021)

On February 24, GKS Mongolia Alumni Association held an information session for newly accepted students who will soon be studying in Korea. The information session was made up of two parts: one session on university life (e.g. how to select one’s major) and another on the experiences of Mongolian GKS alumni studying abroad in Korea. Thank you to GKS Mongolia Alumni Association for hosting this meaningful occasion as well as Orgilbold (Seoul National University, invited in 2017) and GKS alum Dolgorsuren (Yonsei University, invited in 2008) for graciously sharing their experiences!







ㅇ 정부초청장학금 석․박사과정 주제 세미나 진행(‘21.03.05.)

3월 5일, 몽골동문회는 2021년 GKS 프로그램 지원을 희망하는 학생들을 대상으로 한국정부초청장학금 석-박사 과정에 대한 간담회를 개최하였습니다. 본 간담회는 현재 경희대학교 마케팅 석사 과정에 재학 중인 Bayartsetseg(경희대학교, 2015년 초청)동문과 Anukhatan(국민대학교, 2020년 초청) 장학생의 경험담 공유, GKS 프로그램 지원 시 유의사항 등으로 구성되었습니다.

ㅇ GKS Alumni Association hosts seminar for Master’s and Ph.D. scholarship applicants (Mar. 5, 2021)

On March 5, GKS Mongolia Alumni Association held a seminar for students who wish to apply for GKS program in 2021 for master’s and Ph.D. scholarships. The seminar included the sharing of experiences by former and current GKS students (Bayartsetseg (Kyung Hee University, invited in 2015), a GKS alum who is currently undertaking a master’s degree in marketing at Kyung Hee University, and Anukhatan (Kookmin University, invited in 2020)) regarding both the GKS and university life in Korea and an explanation of precautions when applying for GKS program.
