- 스리랑카 GKS 학술세미나 개최 (‘21.08.09.)

8월 9일경 주스리랑카한국대사관과 GKS스리랑카 동문회 주관으로, 2021년도 GKS신입생과 동문이 참석한 GKS 학술세미나가 개최되었습니다. 가까운 시일 내에 GKS 신입생들의 한국행이 예정된 관계로, 오리엔테이션은 한국 유학생활 전반에 유용한 정보 소개 및 질의응답 등으로 구성되었습니다. 특히 얼마 전 2021-2023 GKS홍보사절로 임명된 Sachini Amarasekara(충남대학교/2013년도 초청) 동문은 Aruna Ranaweera(경희대학교/2010년도 초청) 동문과 Amilajith Leelarathne 동문(한양대학교/2010년도 초청)과의 협력 하에 GKS프로그램을 소개하는 시간을 가졌습니다.

- Online Orientation Program for 2021 GKS Scholars (Aug. 9, 2021)

On August 9, the Korean Embassy in Sri Lanka and the GKS Sri Lanka Chapter co-hosted an orientation session that was attended online by 2021 scholarship recipients and alumni. Based on the fact that incoming GKS scholars will soon be leaving for Korea, the orientation was comprised of two parts: an overall introduction to useful information about studying in Korea and a Q&A session. Sachini Amarasekara (Chungnam National University, invited in 2013), who was recently named as a GKS Publicity Envoy for the period of 2021 to 2023, teamed up with fellow alumni Aruna Ranaweera (Kyung Hee University, invited in 2010) and Amilajith Leelarathne (Hanyang University, invited in 2010) to introduce the GKS program.
